The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 Index (Nasdaq:NXTQ), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 21, 2010.

The following five securities will be added to the Index: BE Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV), LM Ericsson Telephone Company (Nasdaq:ERIC), MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:MCRS), Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:SWKS) and UAL Corporation (Nasdaq:UAUA).

The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100 Index®. As a result of the re-ranking, the following five securities will be removed from the Index: Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMLN), Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BRCD), NetEase.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTES), Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS), and Vistaprint N.V. (Nasdaq:VPRT).

The PowerShares NXQ Portfolio (Nasdaq:PNXQ) is an exchange traded fund that seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before the Fund's fees and expenses, of the NASDAQ Q-50 IndexSM. The Advisors Asset Management NASDAQ Q-50 Index Portfolio SM (MFQS:AAMNAX) is a  unit investment trust that seeks to provide above average total returns by investing in stocks included in the NASDAQ Q-50 Index.
