Reiterating the importance of building the Company's own superior end-to-end Fibre network starting in year 2000, "You will never win a war by leasing your 'weapon' from your opponent," Mr. Lai said, and now having built the network, "We have a different mindset. Legacy carriers try to sweat their copper assets by creating a Walled Garden with their IPTV content. We on the other hand embrace over-the-top content providers and love applications that burn up bandwidth."
