Copernic Inc. Announces Release of Copernic Desktop Search Corporate Edition Upgrade Including Integration With Windows Vista SP

MONTREAL, CANADA , (NASDAQ: CNIC), a leading software

release of Copernic Desktop Search Version 2.3, an upgrade of the
Company's award-winning Copernic Desktop Search� software search
engine product, including the ability to enhance Windows' Vista's
built-in search features.
In line with the Company's strategy to further monetize its CDS
user base, the new software includes an auto-update function to
help users of the Home Edition (free for non-commercial use)
transition over to the Corporate Edition as use of the Home Edition
in the corporate and government environments is no longer
permitted.
This new version will also allow users to select Copernic
Desktop Search Version 2.3 as the default search program on their
computers when using Windows Vista Service Pack 1. Consequently, in
addition to the numerous ways a user could access Copernic's search
solution in Windows Vista, they will soon be able to get to their
preferred search results from additional entry points in the Start
Menu and Explorer Windows using the "Search Everywhere" shortcuts.
