Simply, shareholders should try to recover as much money as they can because waiting for any reorganization or liquidation bankruptcies to become effective almost always results in a 100% loss.

Shareholders would need to get a copy of the bankruptcy PLAN to know if there could be any compensation for the common shares. Shareholders must read the general U.S. and Canadian bankruptcy laws to know that Secured Creditors and Bankruptcy Trustees are always first in line to receive any compensation. Unsecured creditors come in a distant second, and in 99.99% of all instances there is seldom any compensation remaining for shareholders. As well, even when there is excess money the Secured Creditors want as much as they can get and Secured Creditors can lawfully argue in Bankruptcy Court that equity holders (ie shareholders) are burdensome to any restructuring PLAN and they insist that the equity (ie shares) must be cancelled for the Secured Creditors to approve any restructuring PLAN. Liquidation bankruptcies also result in no money (or insignificant amount of money) for equity holders.

AKTS changed to AKTSQ, bankruptcy. Delisted from the Nasdaq to the OTC. Stock dropped 64% from .049 to .015 on +107 million volume.

Trading of the Company’s common stock will be suspended from the Nasdaq Capital Market at the opening of business on December 18, 2024. The Company expects that Nasdaq will file a Form 25-NSE with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), which will remove the Company’s common stock from listing and registration on Nasdaq.

You read it correctly. Thanks for the reprint. For some reason. The words were cutting off so I coukd t see the RS numbers. U was only getting half the news. When I click on it. They will chose one if the 2 RS to ratify. 

And the way I read it is that the R/S will not be done away with but one of the ratios will be selected somewhere between 1-50 and 1-250 and all other ratios will be abandoned....but I could be reading it wrong.
