Sounds positive to a layman such as myself. They also swung from a .22 loss for 9 months 2024 to .03 profit for 9 months 2025.

Not sure why the big drop in share price today. Vafeso was never really intended for non dialysis patients so it seems like a non story.

Somebody tell me what I'm missing here. AKBA just came in with better than expected 2nd quarter results and the stock tanked. Just like when the FDA approved Vadadustat, the stock tanked. Seems extremely opposite of what should be happening.

Not much happening here. AKBA makes a profit this quarter and the stock tanks back down. Too many shares outstanding (261,000,000).

At $2 this one is just warming up for the long haul to multiples higher. The key is the 2025 sales of Vafseo and then the expansion of use to non-dialysis patients into subsequent years.
