              Zenith Hygiene Group plc ("Zenith" or "the Company")

                               Trading Statement

Zenith announces that as a result of the ongoing internal review of its
financial position, the Company is expected to be loss making for the year to 31
August 2007. This review has identified a number of one-off cost issues within
the business, continuing cost overruns and the need to change the way the
Company accounts for customer rebates in the current year.

Zenith will ask its auditors to conduct a review of the rebate position in
previous years, which may warrant prior year adjustments.

The Company's bankers, Royal Bank of Scotland plc, have been kept fully informed
and have reconfirmed the current facilities available to the Company.

The internal review remains ongoing and a further announcement will be made as
soon as appropriate.
