At a meeting of the Board of Directors held today, Friday, 23 November 2001,
the Board approved the Company's Financial Statements for the 15 months period
ended 30 June 2001.

The new accounting period follows the change of the Accounting Reference Period
from 31 March to 30 June 2001.


The Financial Statements were approved by the Board of Directors on 23 November
2001 and were signed on its behalf by Mr S L Shimukowa and Mr A M Kashimu.

The exchange rate is as follows:

    US$1  =   K 3 733.80  
                        >  AS AT 30 June 2001
    P#1   =   K 6 340.00 

The detailed Annual Report will be sent to shareholders in due course at the
same time copies of which will also be sent to the Financial Services Authority.
