    Quester VCT 5 plc (`the Company')

Appointment and Resignation of Directors

The Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Carruthers and
Jay Patel to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective as at 10 March
2008. Andrew Carruthers is Chief Executive Officer of SPARK Ventures plc and
also a Director of Quester VCT plc. Jay Patel is an Executive Director of SPARK
Ventures plc.

Andrew Holmes and John Spooner resigned as Directors of the Company on 10 March
2008. Andrew and John were the founders of the management group, Quester which
was acquired by SPARK Ventures plc in May 2007. The Directors of the Company
would like to thank Andrew and John for their contribution and commitment to
the Company since its establishment in 2001.

No further disclosures are required under Rule 9.6.13 (2), (3), (4), (5) or (6)
of the Listing Rules.
