QinetiQ Group plc (the Company) announces that on 23 September 2024 it has purchased, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the annual general meeting of the Company held on 18 July 2024, the following number of its ordinary shares of 1 pence each (Shares) on the London Stock Exchange pursuant to its existing £100 million share buyback programme which was announced on 16 January 2024.

The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.

Following the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 567,190,599. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company will be 567,190,599. This figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
