Platinum  Mining  Corporation  of  India PLC ("PMCI"  or  "the  Company")  today
announces that it is changing its accounting reference date from 31 July  to  31
December.

Accordingly, the next reporting period will be a seventeen-month period from  01
August 2006 to 31 December 2007.
