Phoenix VCT plc announces that on 18 July 2008 the Company purchased
for cancellation 40,000 'C' Shares of 10p each at a price of 73.4p
per share.

The issued share capital of the Company is now 11,082,865 Ordinary
Shares and 5,523,836 'C' shares.
