Payzone plc ("Payzone" or the "Company") 
AGM Statement 
 
Payzone will hold its Annual General Meeting at 11.00 am today at 70 Sir John 
Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2. This will be Payzone's first AGM since the company 
was formed through the merger of Alphyra and Cardpoint plc in December 2007. At 
the meeting Peter Smyth, Chairman of Payzone, will make the following statement: 
"The Company maintains an active dialogue with its debt providers who remain 
supportive of the business and the Company is currently in compliance with its 
banking covenants. Given the current challenging market conditions the Company 
has instigated discussions with its finance providers covering a range of 
financing options with a view to establishing a more appropriate long term 
capital structure for the Company. The discussions are expected to continue for 
several weeks and are likely to result in changes to the Company's existing 
financing arrangements.  We will provide further information on progress in due 
course."
