Issue of Equity 
 
The Directors of Octopus Protected VCT 2 plc are pleased to announce 
an allotment on 23 March 2009 of 1,032,440 ordinary shares of 10p 
each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 100 pence per share pursuant 
to the Offer that opened on 17 July 2008. 
 
Application for the Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official 
List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock 
Exchange's market for listed securities will be made shortly and 
dealings are expected to commence on 25 March 2009. 
 
The Company now has 4,327,778 Ordinary shares in issue. 
The Offer is expected to remain open until 3 April 2009 unless 
previously extended or fully subscribed earlier. 
 
Due to an administrative error, the announcement dated 9 March 2009 
incorrectly stated the total number of Ordinary shares in issue at 
that date. The actual number of shares in issue as at 9 March 2009 
was 3,295,338 Ordinary shares.
