Issue of Equity 
 
The Directors of Octopus Protected VCT 2 plc are pleased to announce 
an allotment on 9 March 2009 of 446,317 ordinary shares of 10p each 
("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 100 pence per share pursuant to the 
Offer that opened on 17 July 2008. 5,275 ordinary shares were issued 
and allotted to Christopher Hulatt, who is a director of Octopus 
Protected VCT 2 plc. 
 
Application for the Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official 
List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock 
Exchange's market for listed securities will be made shortly and 
dealings are expected to commence on 11 March 2009. 
 
The Company now has 3,295,638 Ordinary shares in issue. 
The Offer is expected to remain open until 3 April 2009 unless 
previously extended or fully subscribed earlier.
