Northern European Properties Limited ("NEPR" or the "Company")

The Company was informed on 23 January 2008 that on 22 January 2008, Ian
Livingstone, a non-executive director of NEPR, purchased 150,000 CFDs over NEPR
ordinary shares ("Shares") at a price of EUR 0.775 per Share.

Following the acquisition Ian Livingstone holds an interest of 2.4 million CFDs
over Shares.
