On 15 October 2007, Northern European Properties Limited (the "Company")
received notification that Henderson Global Investors Limited, as a result of an
acquisition on 1 October 2007, had an interest in 29,044,596 shares of the
Company. This represented 6.102% of the outstanding share capital of the
Company.

On 15 October 2007, the Company was further advised that as a result of a
subsequent disposal on 9 October 2007 Henderson Global Investors Limited has an
interest in 26,626,508 shares of the Company this crosses the threshold from 6%
to 5% and represents 5.594% of the outstanding share capital of the Company.
