                    Melorio Plc ('Melorio' or the 'Company') 
                              Exercise of Options 
The boards of Pearson and Melorio announced on 19 May 2010 that they had reached 
agreement on the terms of a recommended cash offer for the entire issued and to 
be issued ordinary share capital of Melorio to be made by Pearson (the "Offer") 
and posted the offer document to shareholders on 21 May 2010. The Offer was 225 
pence in cash for each Melorio Share and valued Melorio's issued and to be 
issued share capital at approximately GBP99.3 million. 
The Offer to be issued ordinary share capital of Melorio included 1,253,433 
Melorio Shares which may be issued as a result of the exercise of options 
granted under the 2007 Melorio Enterprise Management Incentive Plan (the "EMI 
Plan"), the 2007 Melorio Long Term Incentive Plan and the 2007, HMRC Approved, 
Melorio Save as You Earn Share Option Scheme. 
 
The Company announces that it has today issued 628,589 ordinary shares pursuant 
to the EMI Plan. Application has been made for the shares issued to be admitted 
to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 23 June 2010. 
Following this allotment, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is now 
comprised of 40,049,312 shares.
