Suspension of trading

At the Annual General Meeting of Miller Fisher Group plc ("the Company") held on
24 June 2002, the Chairman reported that the Company was in discussions with its
bankers to provide the Company with further short term facilities.
Unexpectedly, the Company has been unsuccessful in negotiating these facilities
and, having discussed the position with its bankers and having considered other
alternatives, the Directors have considered that they have no alternative other
than to invite the bankers to appoint a receiver.  In these circumstances, the
Company has requested a suspension of its shares.
