                             Appointment of Broker



Libra Natural Resources plc ("LNR" or "the Company"), the international
renewable biomass-to-energy company, is pleased to announce the appointment,
with immediate effect, of Liberum Capital Limited as sole broker to the Company.


This appointment follows the review of the Company's professional advisors,
announced on 18 December 2007, and undertaken by LNR's Chairman, Mark Campanale.


Following this appointment, and as outlined in the 18 December statement, LNR
continues to pursue the planned strategic development of its core wood pellet
operations through a significant increase in size, scale and range of
investments in the Company's core wood pellet operations, as well as the
de-merger of its remaining non-core assets.
