Intelligent Environments plc, ("iE" or "the Company"), the online software 
provider for the consumer banking market, announces that Clive Richards, 
non-executive Chairman of iE, has today lodged 5,000,000 ordinary shares in the 
Company with the Corporation of Lloyd's as collateral against an additional 
underwriting exposure of GBP450,000. Mr Richards's holding remains unchanged at 
22,462,998 shares, which represents approximately 13.47% of the issued share
