Hat Pin plc announces that it has applied for the Admission to AIM
("Admission") of 47,527 new ordinary shares of 2.5 pence each in the
capital of the Company, which comprise part of the deferred
consideration payable in connection with the acquisition of Akamai
Financial Markets on 8 September 2006.

The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the
Company's existing ordinary shares. It is expected that Admission of
the new ordinary shares will become effective on or around 10 August
2007.
