    Fenner acquires the assets of Spliceline, Darwin, Australia ("Spliceline")

Fenner, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Enerka Apex Belting Pty Ltd is
pleased to announce the acquisition today of substantially all of the operating
assets and liabilities of Spliceline.

Fenner acquired gross assets of approximately Aus$2,125,000 from Spliceline
which is based in Darwin, Australia and is a privately owned service business
specialising in belt splicing, rubber lining works, mechanical servicing and
belting sales.

Mark Abrahams, CEO of Fenner PLC commented that "Spliceline represents a further
strategic piece of the Australian service network that will enable our value
added service model to offer an even greater selection of safe conveyor
solutions to the growing resource market in Australia".

Fenner is the world leader in the global conveyor belting market. Its products
include lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting for the mining and power
generation markets, precision motion control products for the computer, copier
and mechanical equipment markets, and sealing products for the mining,
hydraulics and oil and gas industries.
