Issue of Equity

The Directors of Electra Kingsway VCT 3 plc are pleased to announce allotments
between 19 January 2006 and 14 February 2006 of 4,724,639 ordinary shares of 1p
each ("Ordinary Shares"),  payable at 100p per share, pursuant to the Offer for
Subscription that opened on 14 October 2005 ("the Offer").

Application will be made at the earliest practicable opportunity for these
shares, which will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, to be admitted
to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London
Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.

The current issued share capital of the Company is now 7,769,937 Ordinary
Shares.

The Offer is expected to remain open until 28 April 2006 unless previously
extended or fully subscribed earlier.
