                              Share Option Grants
                                        
The Board of Directors of Electric Word plc announce today a grant of share
options under the Company's Unapproved Options Scheme (2000) to Dominic
Jacquesson, a Director. The options, with an exercise price of 1p, will vest in
February 2010 according to performance criteria related to the profit
contribution of the Incentive Plus, SpeechMark and MyChild acquisitions in the
years to November 2008 and 2009. The maximum award under the scheme is 2,600,000
shares.
