Annual General Meeting: Trading Update

Endace (LSE/AIM: EDA, "Endace" or "the Company"), Endace, the world leader in network visibility, response and root cause infrastructure, will be holding its Annual General Meeting later today.

Ian Graham, Chairman, will present the following trading update to the meeting:

"The early months of the year have seen Endace make progress as expected and in line with the conclusions of the strategic review, published in June.

"Market conditions show no sign of improvement with worldwide economic uncertainties continuing to be reflected in generally slow sales cycles. We have enjoyed strong renewal rates across our customer base, clearly demonstrating our products' market leadership and their importance to our customers' businesses.

"We have maintained our focus on our organic growth strategy, investing in sales and marketing resource and driving relationships with channel partners, with a strong emphasis so far this year on enhancing our presence in the US market. Developments include the opening of our new office in Silicon Valley, important hires, and new channel partnerships with FishNet Security, World Wide Technology and Accuvant, all major US national infrastructure resellers.

"The Board looks forward to continued progress, with a greater performance weighting expected this year towards the second half, as the benefits of our sales and marketing investments come through."
