Econergy International PLC ("Econergy" or "the Company"), the renewable independent power producer focused on the Americas, today
announces that Thomas H. Stoner, Gerald (Jed) Jones, Peter Vanderpump and Jack Pester have resigned from their office as directors of
Econergy and Manuel Colcombet, Carlos Freitas, Alexandre Keisser and Patrick Obyn have joined the Econergy Board with effect from 27 October
2008.

Manuel Francisco Colcombet, aged 48, is a director of Gasoducto Nor Andino S.A., Gasoducto Nor Andino Argentina S.A., TIBSA Inversora
S.A. and Robicu Safrei. He was formerly a director of Electroandina S.A., Electropacifico Inversiones Limitada, Edelnor, CODESSA and
Energia del Sur S.A.

Alexandre Jean Keisser, aged 38, is a director of Le Vin et plus S.A., Eolica Monte Redondo S.A., Electroandina S.A., Electropacifico
Inversiones Limitada, Energia Del Pacifico Limitada, Gasoducto Nor Andino S.A., Inversiones Mejillones S.A., Inversiones Tocopilla Limitada,
Central Termica Barrancones S.A., Central Termica Andino S.A., Central Termica Hornitos S.A., Suez Energy Andino Investment S.A. and Suez
Energy Andino S.A. He was formerly a director of Energy Consulting Services S.A., Gasoducto Nor Andino Argentina S.A., Litoral Gas S.A. and
TIBSA Inversora S.A.

Patrick Charles Clement Obyn, aged 48, is a director of Renova Energ?Renov?l S.A., SESA Bidco Ltd., Energia del Sur S.A., Bahia Las
Minas Corp., Suez Energy Central America S.A., Inversiones y Desarrollos Balboa S.A., Dos Mares Investments S.A., Bontex S.A. and Alternegy
S.A. He was formerly a director of Energy Consulting Services S.A., Energia Sustent?l do Brasil S.A. and Electroandina S.A.

Carlos Henrique Boquimpani de Freitas, aged 32, has no other current directorships.

Save for the information disclosed above, there is no other information required to be disclosed under Rule 17 and Schedule Two,
paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in connection with the appointment of Manuel Colcombet, Carlos Freitas, Alexandre Keisser and
Patrick Obyn as directors of Econergy.
