             Capital and Regional Properties plc

Application has been made to The London Stock Exchange for
24,115 Ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares') to be admitted
to the Official List.  It is expected that permission to
admit the shares to the Official List will be granted on
Friday 1 August and that dealings will commence on Monday 4
August 1997.

These shares are being issued as a result of allotments made
to the Capital and Regional Properties Profit Sharing Scheme.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary
shares.
