                CPPGroup Plc Appoints New Non-Executive Directors 
 
CPPGroup Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick de Smedt who has 
agreed to serve on the board and will become a director with effect from 26 
August 2010 
 
Patrick joined Microsoft in 1983 and enjoyed a 23 year career there, serving for 
three years as Chairman for Europe, Middle East and Africa prior to his 
retirement in 2006, since which time he has served as non-executive director on 
the boards of a number of European companies. It is anticipated that Patrick 
will chair the Remuneration Committee of the Board 
 
The following disclosures are made in respect of Patrick under paragraph 9.6.13 
of the Listing Rules:

CPPGroup Plc is also pleased to announce that Les Owen has agreed to serve on 
the Board and will become a director with effect from 21 September 2010. 
 
Les Owen (Arthur Leslie Owen) worked for 35 years in retail financial services 
including 11 years as CEO of companies listed in UK and Australia, including AXA 
Sun Life (the life arm of Sun Life and Provincial Holdings Plc) and AXA Asia 
Pacific Holdings. He is a qualified actuary and serves as non-executive director 
on the boards of a number of international companies. It is anticipated that Les 
will chair the Risk and Audit Committee of the Board.

Commenting on the appointments, Group Chief Executive Eric Woolley said:

ambitions. I am confident that their appointment will strengthen the Board and 
contribute to growing our business in the right way, at this key stage in the 
development of the Group." 
 
Tim Kelly, who has served on the Board as non-executive director and chairman of 
the Remuneration Committee, has announced his intention to leave but will remain 
for a period to ensure a smooth transition of Remuneration Committee duties
