Costain Group PLC (COST.LN), said Wednesday that it has been appointed, in joint venture with Serco PLC (SRP.LN), as one of the Delivery Partners to the Highways Agency's National Framework Contract.

MAIN FACTS:

-This framework contract, which will primarily involve the delivery of earlier schemes in the Managed Motorway Programme, is focused on enhancing the capacity and reliability of England's motorway network by installing, testing and commissioning a technology solution to allow hard shoulder running and other improvements to the network.

-Up to GBP2 billion of contracts will be delivered through the framework of four Delivery Partners including the Costain/Serco joint venture.
