The Company has today received the following notifications:

As at close of business on 31 August 2004 UBS Investment Bank, a business group
of UBS AG had 8,700,000 ordinary shares in Caplay Plc representing 4.83% of the
issued share capital of the Company.

Additionally, as at close of business on 31 August 2004, Vidacos Nominees
Limited A/C 1945, held 8,700,000 ordinary shares in Caplay Plc representing
4.83% of the issued share capital of the Company.
