Grant of EMI Share Options



Charterhouse Communications plc ("Charterhouse" or the "Company") announces that
on 3rd December 2007 it granted 2,000,000 options over Ordinary Shares in the
Company to Anthony Peters, the Company's Chief Operating Officer and Finance
Director, under a new EMI Share Option Agreement (the "New Share Options"). The
New Share Options have an exercise price of 1.125 pence, being the closing mid
market price of the Company's shares on 30 November 2007. At the same time,
Anthony Peters has agreed to lapse 1,250,000 of share options held under the
previous EMI Share Option Agreement.



The New Share Options are exercisable between three and ten years after grant,
but only on the condition that on exercise:



The undiluted earnings per share of the Company for the Company's financial year
to 31 May immediately preceding the date on which the option is exercised are
equal to or greater than the following:
