In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Cazenove Absolute Equity Limited ("the Company") announces that as at 31 May 2012 its issued share capital consists of 32,424,573 ordinary shares of 1p with each share carrying the right to one vote. The Company holds 3,284,804 shares in treasury; the total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 29,139,769.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
