    Transaction in own shares

    Bramdean Alternatives Limited (the "Company") announces that on 25 September 2008 it purchased for cancellation 50,000 sterling shares
of no par value at a price per share of 84.0 pence.

    The purchase and cancellation will reduce the total number of sterling shares in issue to 97,701,842, the total number of US$ shares in
issue is 65,988,142. The Company holds no shares in Treasury.

    Total Voting Rights

    Each US$ participating share has one vote and each sterling participating share has 2.0194 votes. Accordingly, the total number of
voting rights in the Company is now 263,287,241.734 and this figure may be used by shareholders as a denominator for the calculations by
which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
