Cancellation of Treasury Shares 
 
In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4R, Blue Planet Worldwide Financials 
Investment Trust plc ("the Company") announces that on the 19th March 2012 it 
cancelled 209,500 Ordinary Shares of 50p each previously held in treasury. 
 
Following the cancellation, the Company's issued share capital is GBP7,038,109 
made up of 14,076,218 Ordinary 50p shares and it no longer holds any shares in 
treasury.
