                    Notification of Purchase of own Shares

Blue Planet Financials Growth and Income Investment Trusts Nos. 1 - 10 plc
announce that on 13 March 2001 each of the Trusts bought back 2,500 shares for
cancellation at a price of 101.5p per share which is the equivalent price of
1015p per share unit. Following the buy back there are 1,394,900 shares in issue
per Trust. The share buy back is being achieved by the application of capital
reserves in accordance with the announced policy of the Boards.
