Correction - suspension of Ordinary Shares

The Asian Technology Trust Plc

The Board of the The Asian Technology Trust plc announces that there has been a
change in the expected timetable for the proposed members' voluntary
liquidation of the Company.

The circular sent to shareholders of the Company dated 15 November 2002,
containing details of the proposed liquidation, states that it was expected
that the listing of and dealings in its Ordinary Shares would be suspended at
7.30 a.m. on 6 December 2002; it is now expected that they will be suspended at
7.30 a.m. on 11 December 2002.

The expected timetable for the proposed liquidation as set out in the circular
remains otherwise unchanged, including the close of the Company's share
register at close of business on 10 December 2002.

This announcement also corrects the announcement made by the Company earlier
today regarding the suspension of dealings in its Ordinary Shares.
