    ANZON ENERGY LIMITED (AIM: AEL)
    DIRECTOR'S DEALING

    Anzon Energy Limited ("AEL" or "the Company") announces that Mr Andrew Young, Managing Director of the Company, exercised 500,000
options at US$0.50 each on 9 September 2008 for the total consideration of US$250,000.

    Following the above transaction, Mr Young's beneficial interest in the Company is 585,500 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.56% of the
issued share capital. 

    The Company has today issued and allotted a total of 500,000 Ordinary Shares following the exercise of options detailed above.

    Application to the London Stock Exchange has been made for these new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It
is expected that Admission will become effective on 16 September 2008.

    The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.

    Following the issue of these shares the Company has 105,040,683 fully paid Ordinary Shares in issue.
