Notice is hereby given that at the annual general meeting of shareowners held
in Luxembourg on 17 July 2001, shareowners ratified and confirmed the
directors' proposal to declare an annual dividend of 60 South African cents
per share payable on 3 August 2001 to members registered in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 20 July 2001. Shareowners not
registered on the South African share register will receive the US dollar
equivalent based on the currency conversion rate prevailing on the record
date.
