Publication of the Revised Consolidated Financial Statements of
Elenia Verkko Oyj
Elenia Verkko Oyj EUR3,000,000,000 Multicurrency Programme for
the Issuance of Bonds, unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed
by Elenia Oy, Lakeside Network Investments S.à r.l. and Elenia
Investments S.à r.l
The revised audited annual financial statements of Elenia Verkko
Oyj (the "Issuer") for the financial year ended 31 December 2020
can now be found at
www.elenia.fi/en/investors/financial-reports.
Following the publication of the audited annual financial
statements on 9 April 2021, the Board of Directors of the Issuer
has become aware of a need to revise the notes to the financial
statements of the Issuer (differentiated P&L account and
balance sheet). Thereby, the notes have been revised as follows:
(i) debt of EUR 550,000,000.00 related to the equity repayment due
to the sale of district heating business has been allocated to
other than network business; and (ii) deferred tax liability of EUR
106,453,935.01 and change in deferred tax liability for the
financial year ended 31 December 2020 of EUR 2,129,078.70 have been
allocated to other than network business. Due to the
above-mentioned revisions, the unrestricted equity reserves
attributable to the electricity network business have increased by
EUR 658,583,013.71 as compared to the audited annual financial
statements published on 9 April 2021.
The revisions relate to the requirement in the Finnish
Electricity Market Act, according to which the electricity network
business shall be differentiated from other business activities,
and have no effect on the standalone or consolidated accounts of
the Issuer.
A copy of the revised audited annual financial statements of the
Issuer has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and
will shortly be available for inspection at
data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism .
