                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 10,000 of its own A-shares for NOK
169.00 per share.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 643,600 of its own
shares, being 553,950 A-shares and 89,650 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,051,456.
