                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


The Bergesen d.y. Group has today bought 25,000 of its own shares, being 15,000
A-shares and 10,000 B-shares for NOK 168.30 and NOK 155.55 per share
respectively.

After this purchase The Bergesen d.y. Group owns totally 201,850 of its own
shares, being 129,550 A-shares and 72,300 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 59,493,206.
