THE GAS CARRIER HAVGAST SOLD FOR SCRAP

Bergesen has sold the gas carrier Havgast of 52,600 cbm, built 1971, for scrap
The vessel is delivered primo May 2000.

The sales profit is approximately USD 1,7 million in the second quarter of 2000,
whereof approximately USD 0,7 mill. is attributable to the vessel's minority
shareholders.
