American Stock Exchange to Launch Options Trading in Five Stocks
NEW YORK, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange
(Amex) will launch trading in options on Wednesday, December 15,
2004 on the following Nasdaq Stock Market and New York Stock
Exchange listed stocks: * Altiris, Inc. (Stock Symbol: ATRS/Option
Symbol: QJI) * China Netcom Group Corporation (Hong Kong) Limited,
American Depositary Shares (Symbol: CN) * PortalPlayer Inc. (Stock
Symbol: PLAY/Option Symbol: PQP) * PPG Industries, Inc. (Symbol:
PPG) * Synaptics Incorporated (Stock Symbol: SYNA/Option Symbol:
QYG) Altiris, Inc. will open with position limits of 3,150,000
shares. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle.
Altiris, Inc. develops and markets a line of personal computer (PC)
management and deployment solutions. China Netcom Group Corporation
(Hong Kong) Limited, American Depositary Shares will open with
position limits of 1,350,000 shares. The options will trade on the
March expiration cycle. China Netcom Group Corporation (Hong Kong)
Limited is a fixed-line telecommunications operator in China and an
international data communications operator in the Asis-Pacific
region. PortalPlayer Inc. will open with position limits of
2,250,000 shares. The options will trade on the February expiration
cycle. PortalPlayer Inc. is a fables semiconductor company that
designs, develops and markets comprehensive platform solutions,
including a system-on-chip, firmware and software for hard disk
drive-based personal media players. PPG Industries will open with
position limits of 7,500,000 shares. The options will trade on the

will open with position limits of 3,150,000 shares. The options
will trade on the March expiration cycle. Synaptics Incorporated
