DENVER, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Koala Corporation (Pink Sheets: KARE) today announced the appointment of Bryan F. Merritt as President. Mr. Merritt has an extensive background in manufacturing and operations. Mr. Merritt has served as President of Matrix Management Systems, Inc. since 2000, and held a variety of positions including Vice President and General Manager; Advanced Products Group of Miller Electric Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works Company, from 1987 to 2000. Mr. Merritt replaces James A. Zazenski, who resigned for personal reasons. Mr. Zazenski has been with Koala since 1997 and served as the President and Chief Operating Officer since 2002. The Board of Directors requested that Mr. Zazenski continue to serve Koala as a member of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Zazenski has accepted this position.
