Maybe this will help you going forward.
How to Limit Your Losses in Investing
Limiting losses is a core part of sound investing and trading discipline. It involves setting clear rules and tools to protect capital and avoid emotional decision-making.
1. Use Stop-Loss Orders
A stop-loss order automatically sells a security when its price reaches a predetermined level, helping you exit before losses grow too large Investopedia. For example, if you bought a stock at $100 and set a stop-loss at $95, the order would trigger if the price dropped to $95, selling at the next available market price. This guarantees execution but may result in a lower price during volatile gaps Investopedia+1.
2. Combine with Trailing Stops
A trailing stop moves your stop-loss price up as the stock rises, locking in profits while still allowing upside potential Investopedia.
3. Set Clear Exit Rules
Before entering a trade, decide:
Profit/loss ratio (e.g., 2:1 profit/loss target) Fidelity Investments
Time limit for holding the position
Technical triggers like support/resistance levels or moving averages Fidelity Investments
4. Manage Psychology
Loss aversion can make you hold losers too long. Use the “Run Winners, Cut Losers” principle to avoid the pain of selling Stockopedia. Having a pre-defined exit plan reduces emotional interference Fidelity Investments.
5. Consider Derivatives for Extra Protection
Options like put options can cap downside risk for a small premium, giving you flexibility to decide whether to sell or hold us.etrade.com.
6. Monitor and Reassess
Regularly review your positions against your plan. If fundamentals change or the market moves sharply, re-evaluate and act on your exit strategy Fidelity Investments.
Example:
If you buy 100 shares at $100 and set a 5% stop-loss at $95, you limit potential losses to $5 per share. If the stock drops to $95, the order executes, protecting most of your capital. In volatile markets, you might also buy a put option to cap further losses us.etrade.com.
Bottom line:
Set stop-losses, define profit targets, and stick to your plan. This combination of tools and discipline helps you protect capital and avoid prolonged exposure to losing positions.

The company has been quiet for months, doing only the bare minimum required by law through its quarterly filings.
No communication, no real interest, and no promotion or pumping activity going on.
Until the broader market goes crazy, or some groups decide to push a P&D narrative, or the company itself makes a move, the stock will probably trade sideways, low volume and no clear direction.
I still own a decent chunk of shares, and without volume there’s no way to sell without impacting the price. Liquidity is really the key. Bagholders until it changes.
At these levels, the stock can be moved with just a few thousand dollars, so any real news from the company or buzz could bring a lot of volatility.
No one here is selling fairytales here. This is a small company that cleaned up its balance sheet over the past few years and has an actual running business. Management clearly isn’t interested in promoting the stock right now.
For the moment, it’s a wait-and-see situation.
If you’re looking for fun or action, this is not the place. At least not yet.
If you’re looking for some kind of revenge, this is not the place either, in my opinion.
