Showers...you don't put stupid glass doors or whatever on them... the "Asian way"....the entire bathroom is a "wet area"....walk right from the vanity to right under the shower....do your thing...walk out..."maybe" a half-panel glass divider which is fixed...but no "door".....the floor can get wet wall to wall....and for elder folks....you can roll a wheelchair right in w/ not even a hump or bump separating the "shower" from the rest of the floor as the drain has a slight slope for all water to flow that direction....you bathe them sitting right in the wheel chair or scoot them to a teak or bamboo bench that sits right in the wet area....it's exactly how they build showers in old folks homes now....we were doing it a 100+ years ago....my S-E Asian home...didn't have a scrap of carpet in it....all hard flooring...beautiful ornamental throw rugs where needed.....
