If FLO getting ready to split shares?

$FLO Flower Foods gains premarket on earnings beat.

Yesterdays earnings report hit the right notes with investors, the stock traded higher on a beat on both earnings and revenue, while also providing favorable guidance for the full year. Shares jumped 3.5% afterhours so we hope for continuation today, the stock completed a correction from April 18 high and is now approaching that level once again at $22.80. In the longer term our wave 3 target is approx $28.

Once I was faced with a similar circumstance. Between myself and other family members owning stock, it was sufficient to get my grievance addressed by the President of the company. It did change certain practices that the President was not aware because of shielding by middle management politics.
Likewise, if Distributors buy enough FLO stock then you may get attention to your grievance, and perhaps bring the issue to the Annual Meeting.

Those of you that are large investors in flo please become aware of how bad they now treat the distributors of their product. They've had several lawsuits they lost because of their treatment of distributors and the way things are headed it looks like many more to come. You may want to question the board of flowers on why the are now mistreating the ones that made them successful.

Bread is a staple of life. If the stock market dives, people still need bread. FLO is an excellent investment.

Valuation Models

Here is a great article with opinions about current happenings with Flowers Food. I am a very long holder of FLO. I have been with them through two 3 for 2 splits. So, they would have to go down to $10 per share before I would get down to the money that I put in. I sure hope they don't go that low, but if they did, I would be stocking up at that price. I am thinking about stocking up at $15 per share since I remember not too long ago it was at $28 per share. I personally think it will get back up there after all the lawsuit talk is gone, but that may be awhile. The dividend is a great bargain for FLO now because the dividend is staying the same even though the price per share is only around $15 now.

Flowers Foods' dividends is a great dividend stock.

I have been invested in Flowers Foods stocks for around 7 years, and my money has doubled during that time even with the recent downturn in price from $27 to now $19 per share. I love the dividend, and I know their price per share will go back up. I also know that I am getting more shares with each dividend per quarter which is great.

Good job for anyone investing in Flowers Foods while the price per share is beneath $20 per share.

I am very interested in FLO. The price dropped more than 3% today, I have no idea why, but I'm happy since it getting nearer my buy price of $17.

What are your guys' thoughts about Flower Foods? I am a dividend growth investor, so I'm in it for the dividend alone, not so much for the gains in price.

This is by far my favorite stock. The market gave people a great opportunity to by a quality defensive stock with a great dividend. The market can be stupid sometimes, but it doesn't mean that smart investors can't out maneuver it. I can wait, traders can't. Their loss, my dividends.

FLO is Going back up--giving 14.5 dividend

I have doubled my money in FLO the last 7 years even with the stock going down from $23 to now $17. I should have bought some more when it went down into the $16 range because I know it will go back up again. They own Wonder Bread, Sunbeam, Nature's Own, and many others. They also recently announced another great dividend to share holders. Now is the time to buy because alot of people use bread in the spring and summer. Even a Flipper could make 25% off their investment in the next year off of FLO.

Flowers Foods, Inc. is a producer and marketer of bakery products in the United States. It has two segments: direct-store-delivery (DSD) and warehouse delivery. The DSD segment focuses on the production and marketing of bakery products to United States customers in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest, as well as markets in California and Nevada primarily through its direct-store-delivery system.
