DLH Holdings Corporation (DLHC)

Got stuck with lower margin work after a very expensive acquisition. Generating positive cash flow to pay down debt but it's going awhile before it's paid off. Govt funding delays and agency unbundling of contracts during the recomplete cycle certainly won't help this company. Once the DOGE dust begins to settle we can get a better idea of where the company is heading.

Sales of $90.8 million for Q, down $7mil from 2023, profit down $1.2mil to $5.6mil.

This could see 6's tomorrow. Too bad but it could be a $15 stock in 3 years. Should have plenty of time to build a larger position. 

Finally pulled the trigger in the low 11’s today. Looking for a 2x-3x bagger over the next 24 months.

Might be time to buy in again if there is a dip…someone has been nibbling on the stock in the last few weeks. Still wary of an upcoming private offering though.

It looks interesting but concerned about low levels of cash. The recent acquisition is great but they tapped their line of credit and my worry is that the company will do an offering to raise some cash to pay down the debt. Watching for the next couple of months.

Anyone have a comment regarding this company/stock? Fundamentally, it looks far better than the (tanking) performance of the stock is indicating. What’s up, or in this case, down?!

It hasn't even been a few hours and the stock is almost another $1 higher. My guess is that another company is going to make a buyout offer and is trying to accumulate as many shares as possible before the offer is made public. It's been this way for weeks.

Sold at 20.50 . Given that it's had 1 month gains of 55%, thought it was prudent to exit. Could be wrong as funds are finding this company as well as a share buyback.

The only overhang I felt was a possible secondary to raise some cash. as they have always run lean and mean for a staffing company. A two million share offering could raise them $40 million and their OS would still be below 15 million.

This could still be an acquisition candidate by a larger company.

Great news co buying back shares

Touched $20 today...more buy recommendations. Also believe company is buying back stock. Expect Covid contracts to continue in the future.

Q4 sales up 29% YOY and profit up over 100%. Staffing for Covid response and new acquisition is driving growth. Still looking for $20 short term.

Rare opportunity to buy on the dip happened earlier this week. Can this stock reach $20 by the end of the year?

Noble Financial increase price target from $14 to $16.50 and kept Buy rating.

Maybe this little company is starting to get noticed….nice pop pre-market….let’s see if it holds.

DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC) (“DLH” or the “Company”), a leading provider of innovative health research, services, and solutions to federal agencies, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide experienced medical personnel to support COVID-19 community testing and collection, vaccination, and monoclonal antibody therapy throughout the state of Alaska. The award complements a separate contract to provide medical countermeasures and emergency medical support to Alaska as the state responds to an increase in COVID-19 cases, which DLH announced in mid-September.

This competitive award, procured under a Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”) contract to provide support for states seeking medical support during the COVID-19 pandemic, has a ceiling value of $20 million for the 90-day base period. It provides for three one-month optional extensions after the initial period of performance. As the prime contractor, DLH will provide the emergency medical logistics coordination for the healthcare team fielded by its subcontractor, which will be responsible for a significant percentage of the services rendered.

Under this contract, DLH will continue to leverage its relationship with a nationally recognized temporary medical staffing firm to place experienced support personnel in communities throughout the state. These healthcare professionals will augment the existing staff already providing emergency medical support services in Alaska.

Steady gainer. If anyone ever notices this stock it could get crazy in here due to low share count.

Paying down debt with free cash flow. Looks like they will only tap the shelf if they need to make an acquisition somewhere down the line imo.

No one knows about this company. 13 million and change outstanding shares.

Earnings after the bell today. Hoping they don't decide to execute the shelf offering that was registered last month. Wynnefield just got a spot on the board.

Looks like a fund started buying on Friday, too the day off yesterday and resumed their purchases today.

At least $15 million additional revenue for COVID-19 work.

Yup. I unloaded a few shares and still have a small core in case we recover from the earnings sell off. 3 bagger isn't too shabby. I'll give those other two you mention a look.

The long-term investing game is the way to go IMO. I feel finding a fundamentally solid company allows for the safest profit, and using Technical analysis to find a good entry helps maximize that profit. I like to play both sides of the game of investing and trading, and sometimes using a mixture of the two to compound money into a particular awesome company.

It's me and you CDub73....all the way to the bank. Two other stocks no one cares about are GNMK and UGSI, the former a $14 stock, the latter a $0.16 stock. GNMK price target is $30, UGSI price target is at least $1.00, but by the time they possibly do a reverse split and an acquisition or 2, stock could be at least a 20-banger...my favorite stock! Good luck! I've never been a trader, only an investor 3-5 year holder minimum.

DLH Holdings Corporation is contracted by The Department of Veterans Affairs to provide healthcare solutions, logistics and technical services, and contingency/staff augmentation services to active duty military as well as military veterans. Upon ending active service and returning to American society, every service member is required to register with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a part of the "check out" or separation process. As a crucial aspect of the separation process, service members undergo a thorough medical examination. If a young man in his early twenties, for example, is found to have a loss of cartilage in both knee caps and significant hearing loss in his left ear, those health issues are documented and noted in his file with the VA. Even if there is no immediate treatment required, the Department of Veterans Affairs will provide treatment and medication years or even decades later if the health issue (or issues) originating from military service require treatment or medication at that time. As our nations veterans age, the amount of veterans requiring treatment will undoubtedly continue to grow.

With the issuance of two new government contracts on September 25 and September 30th, DLH Holdings Corporation will be contracted to operate the Veterans Outpatient Mail Order Pharmacy on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs and also provide professional and administrative support to the Army's medical force. The Army contract dictates DLH Holdings will provide training and modernization to the Army's medical force and also take control of and manage a portion of the Army's pharmaceutical stock pile.

These 2 contracts position DLH Holdings to be a benefactor of military downsizing as Operation Enduring Freedom draws to an end. This statement is supported by a 3.6 percent increase in Congressional funding of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The company's forward looking contractual revenue growth of approximately 50 percent (a result of the two recent contracts) from 2013 to 2014 is congruent with the increase in Congressional funding. Gross profit has grown 24.2% from 2012 to 2013, and the issuance of the two aforementioned contracts clearly indicate this trend will continue. This revenue growth supplemented with a $350,000.00 share repurchase program and provides investors with reason to buy into the bullish argument for DLH Holdings Corporation. An increase in funding of The Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare has bi-partisan support in Congress, and although the company is economically dependent on The Department of Veterans Affairs, Congress funds VA healthcare a year in advance, so sequestration should only have minimal effect, if any, on the company.

We believe repurchasing our shares is a prudent use of our cash and that this share repurchase plan will also provide us with adequate flexibility for future initiatives, - Zachary C. Parker, President and Chief Executive Officer of DLH Holdings Corporation.

Aside from announcing a $350,000.00 share repurchase program, the company hasn't made much information public. Based on statements made by Mr. Parker, it's likely that the company believes its stock to be undervalued. According to the 3rd Quarter 2013 financial statements, the company issued 250,000 options as a result of stock based compensation this year. It would be reasonable to speculate the company intends to repurchase shares in order to offset the dilutive effects of the issuance of those options and also possibly retain some shares as treasury shares

Makes me wonder what they want to do with the repurchased shares.

Good to have u on board. I also owned this stock when it was teamstaff. New mgmt team seems strong and I would recommend purchase at $0.80 or less.

Good to see a message board on this finally. Held this while it was still Teamstaff for a bit. Got out when it shot above $2.
