Inc. ("SSP Offshore") is pleased to announce that it has received
Notices of Allowance from the United States Patent Office with
respect to multiple claims on both its proprietary SSP Plus and its
SSP HUB floating platform designs.
The allowed claims on the SSP Plus design
include the core design elements of the sloped cylindrical hull of
the SSP Plus along with the integrated heave-compensating
module. The U.S. Patent Office has now granted 17 individual
claims on the SSP Plus contained in two separate patents.
The allowed claims on the SSP HUB design include
the core design element of the tunnel through the hull allowing
transport boats to dock inside. The U.S. Patent Office has
now accepted 25 individual claims on the SSP HUB.
Further collateral claims with respect to both
the SSP Plus and SSP Hub have been submitted to the U.S. Patent
Office and are awaiting reply.
In addition, SSP Offshore is pleased to announce
that it has filed a patent application in the U.S. with 20 claims
relating to the novel elements of its new SSP Driller design.
