Trading Update

Entertainment Rights wishes to update the market on current trading and business development, following the important Christmas trading
period.

As with most consumer facing businesses, Entertainment Rights has experienced a decline in certain aspects of its business trading in
the last six months. A new management team was put in place prior to Christmas, with the appointment of Deborah Dugan as Chief Executive
Officer and Edward Knighton as Chief Financial Officer. The new team has put cost reduction programmes in place and begun to implement new
revenue generating strategies to improve the Company's performance. These actions are expected to benefit trading in the new financial year,
beginning 1 March 2009.

As announced on 8 December 2008, the Company has effected a significant reduction in headcount, with 50 employees out of the previous
group total headcount of 150 leaving the Company by 31 December 2008. The Company's target of achieving �5m of annualised cost savings has
now been achieved.

Having conducted a review during and following the Christmas trading period initial indications suggest that, in line with the broader
environment, trading for the Company's retail products during the 2008 Christmas period has been disappointing and therefore it is clear
that the business has been trading significantly below expectations.

US Distributor

The Company reports that it evaluating its business partnership with Genius Products LLC ("Genius"), the Company's primary North
American DVD distributor. Genius has not yet paid certain trading and advance fees due to the Company in accordance with its distribution
agreement. As a result, the Company is pursuing all of its available legal remedies. The Board considers that some or all of amounts owed by
Genius under its current contract may be at risk.

Deborah Dugan, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"The new management team has assumed office at a time of weak trading performance in a very difficult economic environment. Performance
in this financial year has been unsatisfactory. We continue to implement organisational changes which are expected to contribute not only
to a stronger budgeting and forecasting culture but also a robust turnaround plan for the future. We remain in constructive talks with our
bankers regarding new, longer term, funding arrangements to support the group past the Company's financial year end of 28 February 2009."
